Windows 10 Pro can't connect to Pro BE after updating Windows 10 version to 2004
Today I updated my Windows 10 Pro system to Windows 10 Pro Version 2004 Build 19041.388. After the update, Windows can no longer connect to any of the shares on my ReadyNAS PRO BE. What should I check in Windows?

Verify SMB1 is still enabled. Note, however, that some still have issues, and not just on a ReadyNAS: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/smb-sharing-not-working-after-windows-10-update/298f9988-ddd7-48dd-9924-a21541d98c05 .
When you have a NAS, it is rarely advisable to be on the cutting edge of Windows updates. Let the fallout occur for others and the inevitable fixes come before you leap. I follow that same advice for my NAS OS, too.

What gets me is Windows has no problems accessing my ReadyNAS 428. Why?

Are you using ReadyCloud? IF so, there's a beta version of the readycloud app that you need to install.

I seem to have fixed the problem by stopping CIFS and then restarting it on the PRO BE. After that I was able to access the shares on the unit.

Yesterday my power went out and when I got the power back on to everything, Windows refused to connect to the unit. I tried everything/ Nothing worked. I'm also able to login to Front view and my 428 is still able to access the unit. Any suggestions?
