you don't need to ssh to edit automatic.conf.
Use a text editor (like Notepad++, not the Windows notepad), log in on your NAS using CIFS and the admin account you use to log in to Frontview/Dashboard. Then go to /c/addons-config/automatic
There will be a file called automatic.conf with all the settings in it.
