I have the same verizon configuration and get the same error. I have tried all the same trouble shooting methods you all have described and still can not connect. I am able to see my server via my android and iphone devices but when I try to open it to see files I get the "Could not establish a remote connection to ReadyNAS" error. Prior to getting Verizon I was running readyNAS fine over my linksys router. This leads me to belive that it is some config setting in the Verizon modem that is preventing the tool from working. This is frustrating.
