Can't download ReadyNAS Remote client

I am attempting to download the ReadyNAS remote MacOS client, linked here: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20684/

The client is supposedly available at https://readycloud.netgear.com/install/ReadyNASRemote_v1.2.15.pkg , however that link is no longer valid and redirects me to https://readycloud.netgear.com/client/index.html. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

  • Nhellie - Thanks for the links! By removed, do you mean that ReadyNAS Remote is deprecated and that there's something else I should be using instead? (I basically would like the ability to mount shares when at a remote location, not on the same LAN as the ReadyNAS device)
  • Thanks for the clarification!

I'm using a ReadyNAS 104 with firmware version 6.2.1. Unfortunately, ReadyCloud isn't working on my Mac. Login fails (claiming an invalid username/password), despite working on the ReadyCloud site. Multiple password reset attempts yielded no success either. From a few other posts on this board, it seems to be a known issue on Yosemite, which I'm running.
  • I have experienced that as well, but after reinstalling (also on Yosemite) it multiple times I somehow made it work. Maybe we'll just have to wait for the official release.
  • I found a different download per another thread: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=78653&start=15#p442732

    This version works perfectly!
