DNS-O-Matic add-on

The addon is working OK but I confirm that if you reset manualy the IP from DynDNS account and if your WAN IP do not change (same as IP in /tmp/oldip.DNS-O-Matic file) then DynDNS & DnsOMatic will not be updated.
I understand that /tmp/oldip.DNS-O-Matic file has been used to avoid DnsOMatic frequently update (one every 5 minutes) when WAN IP is not changing but DynDNS request an update at least once per month otherwise we have to do it manualy.
I had similar issue when using DynDns addon with DUO and the workaround solution was to restart DUO with Power Timer once per day or week.
Is there any way to setup DNS-O-Matic addon in order to force update (once per day or week) even if the WAN IP did not change ? (May be something in the script to delete /tmp/oldip.DNS-O-Matic when $TIMENOW is 0:00)
