How to automate HDParm tweak?
Hi, I've fitted a couple of Seagate ST32000542AS in my NV+ and they work fine. The only problem was the annoying clicking sound they made every so often. After some Googling I've fixed that too, af...
I've tried this on two readynasDuo's with fw 4.1.9 and 4.1.10 but it doesn't work.
My script runs fine when I start it by hand and the drives respond to the hdparm commands.
name file: ungreen.sh
#!/bin/bash
hdparm -B 255 /dev/hdc
hdparm -B 255 /dev/hde
In the addons.conf i've put
HDPARM!!HDPARM!!1.0/etc/ungreen.sh!!!!Other
in the services file i've put
HDPARM=1
HDPARM_SUPPORT=1
But the script won't start automaticaly by reboot or by turning off and on the nas.
Am I forgetting something?
(By the way, i am not a linux user so most commands are totaly new for me)
