IPOSSIBLE TO TOGGLE ON-OFF APPS
Hi,
ReadyNAS 104 f/w: 6.0.4 (i apologize in advance for my language, but this crap of 6.0.4 is driving me nuts)
After weeks of struggle, I finally got the APPs running, well sort of ...
My problem now is to toggle the apps ON and OFF. It's completely random.
I click ON and then I got this STUPID RETARD window :
"the state of the service has been changed. This process may take more than 3 minutes. Please wait."
That's one of the dumbest message I've had got to read! And on top of that.. there's only an OK button.
Should I click OK and wait more then 3 minutes?
Should I wait more than 3 minute before I click ok ?
I tried both, with a 15minutes wait.. NOTHING ! I've managed to properly switch twice.. no idea how or why.. And it's not specific to an APP.
This readyNAS gui/system is really getting on my nerves... it's SLOW dodgy unreliable... it's just a shame...
Am I alone with this problem?

- GovnahAspirantNope, after 2 weeks of struggles and wasted time and the OS behaving oddly I packed it up requested a RMA from Newegg for refund and back the 2nd RN516 went. I have never in my life been so frustrated with a piece of technology ever.

OS/apps slow as hell, buggy, genie+ is a joke, I'm getting fed up with all this... - btaroliProdigyI'm only using the included bundled apps for now... but what I'm seeing isn't encouraging. I too have been stymied by an app that says it's OFF even though I can plainly see it running and access it. I just don't trust ROS6 yet...

This is soooo annoying! Most apps end up closing themselves every other day, so Toggling App is needed very often, AND FAIL MOST OF THE TIME !!!
Any advise, anyone ?
All I get is a spinning icon .... never ending spinning....
