I'm experiencing the same after buying the PHP addon from readynasxtras. Both Wordpress and ReadyNasXtras own PHPMYADMIN complains that it cannot find the proper mysql extension.
Looking through phpinfo() I find that the usual "mysql" is not run, instead it is mysqlnd, as for "native driver"
MySQL itself is working as I can connect to it through SSH.
PLEASE, let's find out what's causing this!
