or vpn on your readyNAS device to hide torrent traffic?

I know that there were proxy options in an earlier version of
transmission, and that they have taken that out now..

But perhaps somebody has built something that can fix it somehow?

when did torrent traffic become illegal? BitTorrent is a legitimate program for exchanging data.

I know that isn't the answer you were looking for, but Im curious why a proxy is needed?

You could "hidemyass" at the router level.

You can fin the proxy parameters here:

Remember to stop the add on before change the config file and to back it up just in case.

I can not get this thing to stop sending me mails everytime it's finished a download, how can I turn off mail notifications?

There's a setting in your settings.json file called "script-torrent-done-filename", replace whatever is after it by "" and save the file.
Before you edit the file, you should stop Transmission.

Does watch-dir work? What am I doing wrong!?

I have a ReadyNAS Ultra 6 with RAIDiator 4.2.22.
I have installed Transmission_2.77.01.bin

I have customized /addons-config/Transmission/transmission-daemon/settings.json (Stopped Transmission before editing)

I have tried setting "watch-dir-enabled" to true instead on 1, did not help.

I have set chmod 777 on "/c/storage/downloads/torrent/torrent_autostart/", admin is the owner and users is the group.

Transmission will not autoload torrent files I put in "/c/storage/downloads/torrent/torrent_autostart/".
If I load the torrent file manually with the web interface or a transmission remote gui the torrent works fine.

I'm using Transmission 2.77 on my Ultra 2 (Radiator 4.2.22) and I am downloading directly to a usb drive. My NAS powers off at night and turns on again in the morning, and I'm having a strange issue every morning that all my torrents gives the same message:

Error: No data found! Ensure your drives are connected or use "Set Location". To re-download, remove the torrent and re-add it

Resuming the torrents works just fine, but it's a bit of pain in the ar#$ to do every day :) I'm assuming this has something to do with the Transmission service starts before my drives are mounted, but I'm not 100% certain..

Anyone with the same issue - and/or even better - a solution?? :)

Anyone else seeing a could not connect to tracker error? If I start and stop the Transmission service, it will connect to the tracker just fine. It just seems to stop connecting after a while. Suggestions for troubleshooting this? The tracker is torrentleech.org
