- JarnoGGuidePugilares, have you checked whether all the folders Transmission uses (download, partial files, torrents, etc) have the right permissions?
- pugilaresAspirantIt seems that I somehow managed to get it working on my Duo (v1) thanks to the tips above. The only thing was that I don't want my whole media share to be owned by nobody/nogroup. It didn't work with just a specific folder within the media share set to nobody/nogroup (permission denied error). So I had to create separate share dedicated for Transmission downloads, assign it to nobody/nogroup, give proper rights to this share, change setting for incomplete downloads in settings.json and it works fine for few hours now. Thank you guys!
Anyway, it would be nice in the further versions of Transmission to make it possible to set ownership matters somehow other way than just nobody/nogroup.
Cheers! :-) - fraserl322AspirantDoes anyone know if there is any plan to update Transmission further for the NV+ V1?
I have had to update to 4.1.10 T3 as I'm on a Windows Domain, but Transmission keeps crashing on me.....
Cheers, - fraserl322AspirantI found in another thread that the settings in the config file can set the following:
cache-size-mb = 200
I changed mine to 10 instead of 200, and it's been running for a couple of hours now with no issues....fingers crossed! - outriazAspirantHi,
My configuration :
-readynas duo V2
-RAIDiator 4.1.9
-transmission 2.42 (cache-size-mb change from 200 to 2)
transmission send a email when a download is finished.
Is it possible to disable this feature ?
I have remove /addons-config/Transmission/email-allowed : no effect
thanks a lot - JarnoGGuideTransmission runs a script which sends the mail when a torrent is done. To change this, you will have to edit these lines in settings.json:
"script-torrent-done-enabled": true,
"script-torrent-done-filename": "/c/addons-config/Transmission/email_alert",
BTW, if you have RAIDiator 4.1.9, then you have a Duo v1. The v2 serie has RAIDiator 5.3.x. - Deaf_Raiders1AspirantDoes transmission 2.42 definitely not work on 4.1.9 Duo v1
