ReadyNAS Remote for Mountain Lion now available
When you download the ML client from https://remote.readynas.com/download.html, please right click on the installer and click open. You will be able to use this to bypass the Gatekeeper check for now.

- chirpaLuminaryI've also noticed that upgrading the app rarely works, would always say login failed with the correct credentials. I have to move the old app to Trash and install fresh for it to work on new versions.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, its actually a brand new unit and the only version I've installed of ReadyNAS Remote is the version 1.0.60. So its not like I had an old version installed and then upgraded. The results are the same. In order for me to be able to login successfully I have to re-install the application. It seems to make no difference if I move it to the trash before re-installing or not. Right after installing it works fine. If for some reason I shut down or reboot, then it never logs in again. Reinstall and it works fine...until a reboot of course. - NV_v2AspirantYes, I have the same issue. I need to REINSTALL the ReadyNAS remote client anytime I want to use it.
EDIT: This issue has been resolved Readynas Remote is working now. - davclarkAspirantJust wanted to add that I also have this problem. This was working fine on Lion. I've also upgraded RAIDiator, but the login failure seems to happen immediately - so I think the problem is local to my mac.

Yep. Very frustrating. Everything is up to date on the NAS and my Mac, and this was the absolute first install of ReadyNAS Remote as well. Its not like I had a previous version installed then upgraded. Its very frustrating. I should not have to install the ReadyNAS Remote upon every reboot of my Mac. That is just frustrating.
In fact, all the features I bought this NAS for (and are highly advertised), I have not able to get to work. VERY frustrated. ReadyNAS remote, ReadyDLNA (iPhone and iPad apps), and Remote Time Machine backups all do not work. Those are the reasons I went with the Netgear NAS over competitors. I was hopeful the other day when they released a new iOS 6 version of the ReadyDLNA app, only to find instead of immediately crashing it just now fails to load anything. I know this is a ReadyNAS Remote forum so sorry to stray, but seriously... multiple problems = serious frustration. I hope Netgear fixes their crappy software problems soon, otherwise this POS is going back (or up on Ebay if I have to) and buy something that works. So much for me recommending Netgear products to others. They have pretty much ruined their reputation with me with this product and their terrible software. - NV_v2AspirantThe latest release of ReadyNAS remote has solved all of my issues, and everything is working fine now.
