ReadyNAS Remote iPad app v1.3.4
Hi upgraded ReadyNAS Remote on iPad to 1.3.4 and now having issues. Can log onto NAS with ReadyNAS Remote account details but my NAS user accounts will not authenticate now. Everything was working fine prior to app upgrade. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling app.

I'm not really getting far i'm stuck in Support Desk Script World where they are asking for screen shots etc... Might be a few months before Netgear acknowledge that IOS app v1.3.4 is the issue not us. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee Retiredchirpa's already let the devs for Remote know. Considering there's a number of users reporting issues so soon after the update was released, I doubt they'd put it down to the problem being with the user.
- chirpaLuminarySupport won't be of much help on this issue. It comes back to the Jedi's.

ReadyNAS Remote iPad and iPhone app: v1.3.4 - Jim_in_caAspirantI found a way to roll my iPad and iPhone back to v1.2! Now at least I can still use ReadyNAS Remote through my iOS devices until Netgear comes up with a solution to this mess.
Here's what I did. This should work if you normally sync your apps to iTunes, but have not synced any of your device(s) with iTunes since the v1.3.4 update was applied.
1. Before plugging in your device, open iTunes on your PC (or Mac) and click on "Apps" under "LIBRARY"
2. Find the Netgear ReadyNAS Remote app and right-click it. A pop-up menu will appear. Select "Get Info"
3. On the summary tab, look at the version number of the app. If it says "1.2" then you're golden. If it says 1.3.4, then this won't help you, so stop here.
4. Turn on your device (iPad or iPhone) and DELETE the ReadyNAS Remote app FROM YOUR DEVICE, before you plug it in.
5. AFTER DELETING THE APP ON YOUR DEVICE, plug the device in to the PC and allow it to sync from iTunes. The older version ReadyNAS remote app should automatically sync from the PC to the device.
6. After the sync is complete, unplug your device, find the ReadyNAS Remote app on the device, and test it.
Repeat steps 4-6 for each additional device.
Now, obviously, if you get the v1.2 app back onto your device(s), the App Store will alert you to an update for the app again. Don't do it until the update is confirmed to solve this issue (i.e. - greater than 1.3.4). - Same issue:

Seems to 'connect' OK with ReadyNAS Remote ID but then fails to authenticate. - philboneAspirantAnother example
Using ReadyNAS NV+ V2 ARM with 5.3.5
Using iPhone Remote app 1.3.4
I can sign on the the Remote server, I can see the NAS, I can even see the shares but if I click on any shares I get the "Error Unable to Login" message. There is no login entry requested.
The shares on the NAS are enabled as follows:
SMB - Everyone read/write and Anonymous access
AFP - Everyone read/write and Anonymous access
FTP - Everyone read/write
Thank you
Phil
