ReadyNAS Remote iPad app v1.3.4
Hi upgraded ReadyNAS Remote on iPad to 1.3.4 and now having issues. Can log onto NAS with ReadyNAS Remote account details but my NAS user accounts will not authenticate now. Everything was working fine prior to app upgrade. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling app.

- HedleyDavidsonAspirantI have readynas duo v2 running radiator v 5.3.5 and add on remote v 1.0.9.81 on the other end is an iPad 3 running readynas remote v 1.3.6 .
From pc or MacBook readynas device works just as advertised BUT from iPad I can connect and SEE the shares but when I try and view the contents of a folder I get " access denied " . After three days messing about I am ready to throw this device in the pond ! .
Any help appreciated . - Pistolpete11AspirantHas anyone got any updates on this.
Like others, I cannot access my Shares from my iPad, getting the "Error Unable to Login" message against each.
HOWEVER, I have no such trouble with my iPhone, which connects with ease. How can this be?
(it also works from my Windows XP machine)
It suggestst the problem is actually a setting in the iPad, but which one? - Deb_BAspirantI had everything working fine on my iPad until updating the app to v1.3.7. Now although it says I am connected to the NAS (a Duo v2) it will not login to see the shares using any method. Grrrrr
- GoggiPAspirantEnable FTP on services and also open port 21 on your firewall router and also and on the Ipad use FTP
- Deb_BAspirantStill doesn't work...
- GoggiPAspirantIs your PC or MAC able to see the shares using readyNAS remote?
- Pistolpete11AspirantLatest version is v1.5.2
I can't answer for PC or MAC, but it has cured the problem where the iPhone shaes could be seen, but the iPad shares could not be seen.
In fact, I'm a very happy chappie. :D :D
Sometimes, it won't load photos (to view) but I think that is more likely to be the link rather than the App. It just always happens when I really want to show someone a photo quickly.
