ReadyNAS Remote iPad app v1.3.4
Hi upgraded ReadyNAS Remote on iPad to 1.3.4 and now having issues. Can log onto NAS with ReadyNAS Remote account details but my NAS user accounts will not authenticate now. Everything was working fine prior to app upgrade. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling app.

- Trial_MasterAspirantchirpa can you advise when a rollback or updated client is going to be released? This is having an impact which does not appear to be acknowledged by the developers.
- kmm454AspirantVersion 1.3.4 fails consistently on my iPad 3 over 4G
I didn't make any changes to my ReadyNAS settings because there weren't any described on the App Store page.
ReadyNAS Remote on Mac OS X Lion works perfectly as does Windows XP running in VMware Fusion.
My ReadyNAS: NV+ (sparc) with latest firmware -- I always keep it updated - chirpaLuminaryShortly. v1.3.5 is going through some testing, before posting. It will also add back a CIFS/FTP toggle, to select either protocol.
- Deb_BAspirantIt's working fine for me, using my Duo v2 and the 5.3.5 firmware. I would only ask for a thumbnail/preview option for photos, the ability to select and work with more than one file at a time, and for the back button to only take you back to the previous folder, rather than right back to the main NAS unit. That's a pain!
- gibxxiGuideAnother iPhone 4S user who can't connect. Why is it asking my for username / password details twice? Once in the sign-on screen and once when you try accessing the NAS? Is it nessecary to enable AFP etc? Rather not have more stuff running if i can help it.
Also, for the sign-on screen, if you ask me it would make sense to have the password / username info greyed out once the user clicks sign-on and have it stay that way if sign on is successful until the user "Signs out". Also an auto-switch to the NAS selection screen upon successful sign-on would make things smoother imho. - Martin4x4AspirantThe issue does not appear to be fixed.
Running 5.3.5 and on my iPhone 1.3.5
I can sign on to my Ready NAS and connect but I am still unable to enter any share 'Error Unable to login'
It really would be nice to be given some nice clear instructions on any settings that need changing.
So justs how do you toggle?Chirpa on 11 June - Shortly. v1.3.5 is going through some testing, before posting. You should be able to choose the NAS you wish to change the connection settings for then choose CIFS/FTP.
- Trial_MasterAspirant1.3.5 works perfectly. Thank you!!!!
Netgear support were a waste of time. My support ticket is still open and they want me to create a new ReadyNAS Remote account. They won't accept the IOS update was the issue. Thank god these forums exist and the Jedi are proactive. - markdarbonneAspirantOk, so I have updated to the 1.3.5 version on the ipad and still can not access data.
I just get access denied - If I edit the ReadyNas Remote setting, I confirm that CIFS is enabled on I have the correct usename and password entered.
We are integrated with Active Directory, so I have set the permissions on the share from the domain controller (and domain admin account) for the share to allow my user access to the share).
Still now dice - what am I missing here, I would really like to do this over CIFS (not FTP). - markdarbonneAspirantI also have the SSH add on enabled, so I can see the logs - what log could I tail -f to see why this is not allowing access.
