I saw no notification that said it was using a relay connection, only saw "logged on", "online" and "logged out" messages.
I am getting full speed using regular FTP, so the foreign network is also not the cause.
Here is an example.
You can not hear the audio as it comes in pieces. Changing the client settings did absolutely nothing.
I had to download the file to play it, which I what I wanted to AVOID by using ReadyNAS Remote.
A few other notes (WinXP) about Remote client:
Those who are wondering where the log file is saved (as it is NOT in the program folder) then here is the path for WinXP:

file infoWhen you double click the video file then there is a delay of about 40 seconds before anything happens in the video player (MPC) and after that 1 second of actual video equals to about 9 seconds of shutter.
type: avi
size: 152891392 bytes
length: 00:24:09
video: 640x480 23.98fps 706Kbps
audio: 48000Hz stereo 128Kbps

A few other notes (WinXP) about Remote client:
- Changing properties and selecting "OK" to save creates a new connection, that I did NOT request. I simply wanted to save the settings.
- Properties is NOT available to select until you have connected and then disconnected first.
- When ALT+TABing then a new untitled icon (looks like default .NET) is shown and always uses the first slot on the list regardless of any action you do.
Could this be either removed or named ? - I changed the hostname a while back, but the client still uses the OLD name. How do I get it to use the new hostname?
Remote on the NAS has been updated multiple times since the name change.

Documents and Settings\<YourUsername>\Locale settings\Application Data\ReadyNASRemote\
