Hi,
We had the same issue - http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=67007
I don't think its your NVX, we have 10 ReadyNAS's deployed (a mixture of Pro 6, Ultra 4, Ultra 2 and Duo v2's) and they all suffer from this issue and its only since Netgear launched ReadyDrop.
The only way I have been able to get ReadyNAS Remote to work is to constantly reset the p2p, but never had to do this prior to ReadyDrop.
Ultimately, as a small business provider Netgear have become too unreliable and uncompetitive against Synology who's NAS's we are now going to deploy into a number of customer sites. DSM is a joy to use and show's now clunky RAIDiator has become (even the new ARM based OS leaves a lot to be desired) which is a shame, as the hardware itself is very good value for money, but hardware is nought without good software
