[req] Subsonic
http://www.subsonic.org/pages/index.jsp
appears to be GPL/open source, music streamer.. similar/same as orb but looks much more flexible and open.
assuming its possible, would love to see this available for x86 devices to stream directly from nas

- RedDeathAspirantI must be retarded...
Where is the beta located? I don't see it in this post:
viewtopic.php?f=48&t=45661 - its available on the frontview addons page after you install subsonic.
S-P has integrated an updater into the frontview addon - RedDeathAspirantGotcha... I was still running 1.9, so it didn't have that option... upgraded to 2.0, then upgraded via frontview...
Noticed that transcoding .flac no longer works like it used to... heh, odd.
Thanks anyway! - columbiaAspirantHi Fellas:
I have the Stora and I want to install Subsonic on it.Some have said they could or have done it but I dont see any follow up on how it was done. I was thinking about using Debain for the op system
and the Debain verison for Subsonic. Please any help you guys might give will help me in keeping this system going. Thanks
William - VarletAspirantAll versions i tried are crashing every night and service needs to be restarted manually, that is on ReadyNAS PRO
it basically makes the addon not worth installing and i end up running it on my PC - XophileAspirantCan you guys auto-update Subsonic inside Frontview? I can't anymore. Anyone have the lastest download link?
Thanks - try a different browser if you're having problems with the auto update
- XophileAspirantI've tried IE8, IE9, Firefox 8 and Chrome - same issue!
- dafartAspirantIs there a chance the new version 4.6 will be availabe as an update for the readynas ultra? Or are there ways to update myself using ssh and apt-get ?

Same here. I used to be able to update from 2.0.00 to 4.5.x via frontview radiator 4.2.19.
Last Fall, the add-on crashed and would not restart. I was forced to remove the add-on and reinstall 2.0.00. After the reinstallation, the option to update from 2.0.00 to 4.5.x within frontview did not appear.
I've been running 2.0.00 ever since.
