SMB1
So I'm hoping someone has run into this issue before and has an answer. I have a ReadyNAS 1500 running RAIDiator 4.2.31. We were using a few shares with SMB1. I followed steps list in this postin...

You are correct, even though I had used root as the username earlier to modify the file, later I forgot about it apparently.
