Super-poussin, Could u, please, make a soft for the ReadyNas duo. It would be nice, if the soft works with usb webcam or/and ip cam. Thanks. I use and enjoy your product from here : viewforum....

The Pro runs motion nicely. I currently have it monitoring a network camera at 10FPS, when motion is detected, it saves an mpeg4 video file. Tons of tweaks can be done for motion, like 'on event' commands, so you could even get an email when motion is detected. There is no GUI for all this, it is all in a configuration file. It can monitor network IP cameras or USB cameras (but drivers will need to be compiled for USB devices).
I have gone one step further, by using a bluetooth module to detect the presence of a cell phone. This way, it only records motion when I am not in range. Once I leave the house, it springs into action. The bluetooth half of it is running on another PC until I am able to get the drivers on the NAS for the bluetooth USB module. And if I want to show periodic snapshots on a website, I also pan the camera out of view when I am in the area :)
