Hi are you wokring on this for Duo - or only for Pro? I'm looking for an IP CCTV for home security, and since I already have a Duo I will wait and not buy anything yet if you are developing this as an add-on for my NAS.

I have is set up as FTP server so perhaps I already can get what I need, just learning about this today

The Duo will not handle very many feeds for motion detection, I'd imagine 2 feeds would bog it down a lot, the CPU just isn't designed for that. The NVX/Pro would be fine for many though, I have two IP cameras doing motion detection on the Pro, uses less than 3% CPU usage.

Thanks for the information... I hope to be able to test this on my DUO when published. I've got a Logitech QuickCam USB interface.

Only 1 stream will work just fine for me.

Curious if it was possible to make IP camera software which is similar for the ReadyNAS? I have 3 (soon to be 4) IP cameras and I would really like it if this could be accomplished.

I'd love to use this to retire my current Homewatcher setup, but I only have an NV - if I can drive a couple of IP cameras I'll be in clover.

Thanks. My friend is dying to get a NAS - sound like it could soon be time for me to sell my Duo on - and get a Pro :D
