Transmission doesn't start when NAS starts up

When my NAS starts up each day at 7am, Transmission is always turned off, Plex starts on its own though.

is there any way to make Transmission startup when the NAS turns on?

  • RN312, just installed OS6.1.8 RC1. Same issue. Transmission not accessible but works after toggling switch.

SP, is there something we can request of the ReadyNAS OS developers to change to get this to work?
  • Update about Amule:
After some test and digging I found that the app is running, is the system that doesn't read it as "Active".
Logging into the RN102 via SSH as root and giving a "ps -adef|grep amule" I found the processes up and running and using the inteface Amule GUI, available with the normal installation of Amule on a Linux box, I can login and control the app on the nas.
Also the web access is available.

The "false" problem I was focused on is just that the RN102 web client doesn't shows Amule as running.
Now is explained why it raises that error trying to start it again.

Super-Poussin, if I can help with some other information just ask and I'll try to find on my RN102.

    Greets.

  • The fix worked installing transmission 3.0.0.6 from super-poussin dropbox.

Tried the same workaround with amule but no results; the service is running but the system doesn't list it as active.

Thanks a lot to pst and super-poussin!!!!!
