Transmission Torrent Client Questions
Hi All
I have a readynas duo, have tried bit torrent but not the best as it freezes often.
Tried transmission for lat few days and everytime I close the interfance it stop downloading the torrent files, and then when I go into the interface to check again, it refuses to load until I restart the services.
Is thwere a better functional torrent client addon I could use for readynas duo?
What am I doing wrong here?
Thanks for all your replies.

- de_niroGuideHave you tried Transmission 2.22?
- BikeHelmetAspirantThat's probably a cache size issue. In the latest version it's set wrong by default.
Stop the service, then go to:
\\ReadyNAS\addons-config\Transmission\transmission-daemon\settings.json
Find the cache-size-mb line. The default used to be 2. Set it no higher than 8 for 256MB RAM systems, and no higher than 16 for 1GB RAM systems. Anything higher causes the process to randomly crash.
