  • Since I posted original request I have tested Minimserver on an old laptop. I would prefer Minimserver to Twonky on the Duo v2.

    Cheers, Bil.
  • I bought my ReadyNAS Duo v2 under the impression Twonky was supported since it was listed on the website.

Now that I have it the only software that seems to be supported on my ARM architecture is Plex, which I don't like.

I would like to request support for Twonky on the ReadyNAS Duo v2 with ARM.

    Thank you.

Is there any way to port x86 or Sparc to ARM?

If its only music you need, Minimserver is now available for Duo v2.
  • Like others, I would like to see a Twonky version (preferably 6.0.39) available for the ARM devices.

I bought a ReadyNAS NV+ v2 recently and am a bit dismayed to find the streaming support is so poor. For now I have had to go back to using my old Duo.

Are there any other streaming services available as add-ons (other than the ReadyDLNA service with the box)?

Super-poussin - you have been our saviour before with Twonky versions for Linn users. What are the prospects of getting something out for the ARM devices? I saw your note about no ARM binaries being available but does that mean months of waiting? Or maybe never?

Without a decent streaming solution my NAS NV+ v2 is going to end up used only as a doorstop.

    Richard
