Update file is not valid for this architecture? #26080687
I have a similiar issue. I had Plex properly installed and working, when i was informed of a Plex update. When i went down that path is where somehow i hosed myself:
I could find my NAS in the MAC Finder and mount just fine. However, i noticed there was also a RAIDiator update [4.2.28] so i performed the update. Then there was also a Plex update which i tried to perform and i started receiving the "file not valid for this archecture". I knew i picked the right file for Intel 4.x, so i was baffled. Now, i can't find my NAS in the finder, nor mount the shares. I've uninstalled Plex, to no avail. I notice now that CFS and SMB file sharing protocols are unchecked [which could possibly explain not being able to find and mount the shares]. However, when i attempt to tick those boxes and hit "apply" the ticks don't stay, as if the system is not storing the change.
I'd be curious what the tech did to resolve your issue. I attempted to go back to RAIDiator 4.2.27 but I'm getting the "file not valid for this architecture" message which is nuts because it is a valid file for this architecture! so i'm going in circles so to speak.
thanks for any input.

HI Netgear Moderator,
Long story short... After messing with it for about a week, I bought a per incident tech support. I haven't found out what caused the issue but the tech stated that he found a very large "DLNA database", he deleted that, reinstalled the OS, and low and behold all my volumes became visible again and mounted on the desktop. He even installed the latest version of Plex for me. So now I'm "good to go". Not sure what caused the issue in the first place so I'm following up to see if he has any idea on that.
