__VERY__long rebuild time. Can I pull the drive?
I recently got a RN204. I installed a single 2TB drive and filled it to 95% full with data. Then I added a second drive. It proceeded to resync. That took 28 hours after which it indicated the vo...

the latest. 6.4 I think. Can I pull the third drive, restart the nas, and have it come back up mirrored? At this point I just want to get the data backed up. The third drive is showing quite a few smart errors.

I disabled ReadyDLNA and uninstalled the Plex app. DIdn't really help. it shows as 1.72% done. 1662 hours left. How do we know if it's its stared buildling parity on the drive? Can I shell into it and inspect the drives some way?

I've shelled into the nas. ps aux shows /usr/sbin/readynasd taking only 1.0% cpu and 2.2% mem. I know there are lots of sector problems on drive #3. At 1.7% done rebuilding, what are chances that pulling the third drive (the one I last put in) destroys the entire array?

What happens if I just click the x-raid green button? Does it give me the optoin of turning off the raid? (undoing what it has done and just leave me with JBOD (whiich would be just fine)

ok, found out that green x-raid button gives me the option of destroying the array and going to flex raid. Dont' want to do that.

If the drive is failing, then that could explain the slow rebuild time (and your data is at risk, unless you are using dual-redundancy raid). Are you seeing more reallocated sectors being logged as the resync proceeds?

As I believe has been mentioned by Skywalker elsewhere there is a known issue with hot-swap on the 200 series and 210 series that is addressed in ReadyNASOS 6.5.0 (RC2). You may wish to try that.
