AFP Out Of Date In OS X Lion

Tech support probably hasn't even looked at testing the ReadyNAS units against Mac OS X Lion yet then (well at least not the Level 2 Support people you spoke to) which isn't that surprising as they don't support betas.
The developers on the other hand would look at betas and be well aware of the issues. The issue is well known and yoh-dah (the head of the Jedi) has indicated on Twitter that they are working on adding Lion support as I mentioned above.
