Yes lots of backporting would probably be needed for Sparc. Could be some other issues as well.
The new RAIDiator has not been released yet. yoh-dah's based at NetGear HQ so he's possibly just waking up to a new day.
Just to be clear x86 ReadyNAS are those with Intel CPUs (i.e. NVX, Ultra, Pro, 1500, 2100, 3200, 3100, 4200). Sparc ReadyNAS (have Infrant Sparc CPU) are e.g. Duo, NV+, 1100, Infrant ReadyNAS, old OEM rebrands.
yoh-dah said x86 firmware (As he didn't say I don't know if this will be a public beta or production release, but I'd expect it'd probably be a beta) is due today.
