Amazon Cloud Drive and files over 50GB
I´m currently using the built in service to sync with Amazon Cloud Drive.
Apperantly there is a file limit of 50GB that I didn´t know of, therefore the sync got stuck for 3 days ending with an error message like this:
System: Unauthorized. It could be invalid user account credential or the app is not allowed to access cloud drive. Stop syncing with Amazon Cloud Drive.Message might not be related but made me notice the issue
It would be good if the service notified the user if such large file existed in the backup share instead of getting stuck like this.
I can see different solutions for this
* If >50gb file exist, skip and notify user (email?)
* if >50gb file exist, stop sync and notify user (email?)
* Scan directory before sync for large files and warn user
I can´t say if the service actually uploaded 50gb for 3 days and then hit the limit or if it just got stuck.

Is the 50Gb limit set by the ReadyNAS or by Amazon? I'm having issues syncing large files to cloud drive.

Hi, this is an Amazon limitation.
It´s not very well documented though.
Figures! I just recommended a customer to start a subscription for backup replication purposes, since amazon offer unlimited storage. I think they're still on the free startup trial though. Really annoying. Google drive doesn't seem to have the 50GB limit, but they're at least twice as expensive and storage is limited.
