Antivirus: A lot of false positives since 6.9.2

I've been getting a lot more false positives lately. I've double checked myself by uploading the suspected file to virustotal.com and almost always the file comes back clean.

I made mention of a feature request for the ability to exluded certain directories, etc. but no data or projected OS release was noted. Is this on the roadmap at all, other than "soon"?
