Apple Time Capsule and Readynas NV+

Hi,

I really hope that someone can help me...i am stuck beyond belief.

I have a modem. Behind that modem is a Apple Time Capsule 2 TB. This is my wireless and wired router. I have a windows PC with Windows 7 64 bit.

Now, Internet works just fine, but i also have a ReadyNAS NV+. I have it plugged into the Time Capsule and i can't get is visible in my system. Apple support can't help, because it's related with Netgear and not Apple.

Who can help me to explain what i have to do to get the readynas accesable from my PC?

  • i am still searching on the internet and found something that makes me believe that the Timcapsule can't rea NTFS. Only FAT.

If this is true i have to use a switch en plug the NAs in that switch and hopefully i can then i can see the NAS..

Any one else got an idea on this?

How have you plugged it into the Time Capsule? Via ethernet?

If you connected the NAS to the Time Capsule via USB that would explain why it's not working. The ReadyNAS is not a USB peripheral.
  • Nope...not connected through USB. Its plugged into the Apple Tima Capsule through a Cat6 UTP cable.
