Apply factory reset without total data erase
Hello I have ready nas pro 6 with 6 discs: 1-2: Volume c in Raid 1 3-4: Volume d in Raid 1 5-6: Volume e in Raid 1 I don't know if this is possible: A) I remove discs 3,4,5 & 6 B) Back...
If you have working disks, you can migrate them to a new (compatible) unit. For instance, another Pro - but not an RNxxx.
When migrating (or in general when re-inserting) you need to power the NAS down first. If it is up and running, it will also do a drive test, then wipe it, and rebuild/resync.
