Thank you for the reply. My suspicion regarding use of term "remote" is clarified.
Upon reflecting on your comment about how you back up your PCs, this now makes much more sense and I can see that the solution is not so much SIMPLE as it is OBVIOUS.
We will check out the Acronis app. Thx for the tip!
