Backup job fails (#18995792)

Two 2100's, one production, one at remote building for backup, same LAN, both on 4.2.21. Backup job fails with this error, but I don't know what it means.

sending incremental file list
rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed to write 4 bytes to socket [sender]: Connection timed out (110)
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (5 bytes received so far) [sender]
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(605) [sender=3.0.9]

Have you double checked you've got permissions on the Rsync share set correctly?

Open a support case (at my.netgear.com if over 90 days after purchase and you don't have a support contract) and post the case number.
  • The share permissions are still set at default settings. Your case number is: 18995792
