Hi all -
Just a quick clarification on the pricing issues Chirpa raises...
While the core ReadyNAS Vault plans are built for business and consequently a bit pricey by individual standards, there are (as of relatively recently) a suite of Personal Plans that are priced much more economically for individual users. For example, the starting plan is 100 GB for $9.95/month or $99.95/year with additional storage available at slightly reduced pricing per GB. If price is the only factor, you can find cheaper solutions, but given the the ReadyNAS Vault is already built-in to most ReadyNAS units and has been optimized for the NAS platform, the Personal Plans can be very attractive.
You can upgrade from the promotional accounts on your own or just ask the support@vault.readynas.com squad to do it for you. A sneak peek at the full suite of Personal offerings can be found at the cloudr site...

If not obvious, please note that I am affiliated with the ReadyNAS Vault team (so please take my endorsements and praise for the Vault with this disclaimer in mind).

You can't compare Egnyte, as it is Enterprise only, coming in at 150GB a month for $24.99 for 5 employees.
