Bad IP address for NAS
I just updated the NAS to the latest firmware. On reboot the NAS ended up with an IP address that looks like a subnet mask. RAIDer can see the NAS, but cannot open it because it does not have a valid ...

Assuming you are using DHCP - if the NAS cannot get on address from the router, it will fail over to 192.168.168.168.
You can try unplugging/reinserting the ethernet cable, or even powering down.
If you are using a static address (or all else fails) try an OS reinstall. This is described in your hardware manual (http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20683). There are differences in the v1 [4.1.x firmware) and the v2 (5.x.x firmware), so be sure to get the right one.
An OS reinstall will reset the NAS to use DHCP, and also will reset your admin password to the original value (netgear1 or password).
