Best way to backup 5TB of data on NAS

mdgm ... very good advice. I'm a bit of a newbie to all this so I'm a bit out of my depth in your suggestion to using "NFS for full backups" and then switching to Rsync for incrementals.
After a full backup on the home network, I was hoping to take the RN102 to my office and connect via internet for incremental updates/backups.
Is that possible?
