Which firmware are you running?
That looks odd. That's a log that's rotated after a period of time. I wouldn't have thought it should have bit-rot protection on it.
Can you send in your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?

That's very old firmware.
Do you have a backup?
I'd suggest getting your volume usage down to about 80-85% then updating to 6.6.0.Any update? Did my suggestion above resolve the problem.

no, not able to do it yet. We are moving all equipment in a few weeks and I hope it will run ok until then.
After that I will be able to redo/update the NAS.
