Cannot access files in shares over NFS
Hi
I'm trying to access my the shares on my ReadyNAS 104 from my media player (Popcorn Hour). Both are connected via a Netgear WNDR3700 and the network setup is fine. I can also access the files in the shares with SMB without any problems. I've actually tried this with three different media players so I'm pretty sure that the problem does not lie on that side!
Strangely, I can navigate to the NFS Server (the NAS box) and see the shares. I can even click on one of the shares and see the video files in there but they fail to play. The files themselves are fine - they play ok over SMB.
I've tried a few things such as creating a new share with NFS only and opening the security as much as I can. I'm not applying any security from the media player side - I don;t know if I need to?
In case it makes any difference, I am using JBOD and not RAID so I am creating shares on each of the disks.
Any advice appreciated -thanks!!

- Deano1AspirantNo, they do not play full stop. I can view the files in the NFS shares but when I try to play them they simply fail to play.

Looking at your logs, one of your volumes Movie1 is almost 100% full
Your volume data was also getting quite full. - Deano1Aspirant

Nothing has changed on the NAS since those logs were taken.
Yes, the Volume1 is almost 100% full - there should be no problem there? Still plenty of space on the Data volume. Can't see how this would have an impact on playing the files over NFS while they play fine over SMB?
