Cannot backup from PC to NAS

The host name should certainly not be in the path.
Two things to try:
(a) ignore the test connection result, and attempt the backup anyway. Sometimes test connection and the real backup are inconsistent (one works and the other does not),.
(b) try using your PC's IP address instead of its host name.
Personally I use tools that push data from the PC to the NAS. Some of these can also be automated, so they can run on schedule.
