Cannot backup from PC to NAS
Hi, Have spent hours on this thing... time to ask for help. I have the Readynas Duo v2. I have it working fine and can see my shares fine on Frontview and can see it on my Shares on the network. Ha...
That is also what I do. I set it up so Acronis creates an incremental image of the C drive in each PC (saved on the NAS).

True Image can be run on schedule - with most newer PCs it will wake the PC up to do the backup. That doesn't work with some of my PCs, but I work around that using the WoL feature in the Pro's backup jobs to wake those PCs up shortly before the backup is scheduled.
True Image also lets you customize post-backup actions. I use that as well - I have a robocopy script which lets me sync some folders on the NAS with each PC.
If you want to talk more about how this approach can work, maybe start a new thread. I'm sure other backup programs have similar features, Acronis is what I used before I had a NAS, and I have chosen to stick with it.
