Open Frontview (web-admin interface of the ReadyNAS). Go to Shares > Share Listing and add a new share (don't forget to click Apply).
Now if you want to do this on a Mac, connect to ReadyNAS (CIFS) as the "admin" (Frontview) user not your wife's user.
