Can't Delete Time Machine Sparsebundle

I have a ReadyNas Duo, and am trying to delete a time machine sparsebundle on the drive. I have logged in as admin to the ReadyNas, shown hidden files, and can see the sparsebundle file. However when I try to delete it the finder window pops up with "Preparing to delete immediately", and it never actually deletes. I have left this running for hours, and still it doesn't delete.

At this point I have a 600MB+ time machine backup and I can't delete it! I have looked through all the forums and tried various other methods to delete (connecting different via AFP, SSH, using terminal), all with the same results.

Using with Mac OSX

I was just answering the previous post which I read it as saying it had worked and assumed this was referring to a Duo V2! :roll:

Okay I've updated to 5.3.5 - and I'm on a Mac. First thing is that the files don't appear as a list but as icons - so you cannot easily see the whole path and file name - can this be changed?

Would it then be possible to explain how I can log on as admin to CIFS? I've tried admin password - but just get the wiggle box! And then how to delete the sparsebundle? :oops:

There are a lot of changes in 5.3.5 but the documentation does not seem to have been updated. When I worked in system development a new release was only finished when the documentation was!! :shock:
