Can't get itunes server to work
Dear all.
I've been browsing through the forum and web for hours now, but have come to the conclussion that i have to ask for help as i havent been able to find any solution so far.
The problem is that i can get itunes to see the music on my Readynas DUO, i'm running Itunes 10.5 and have installed the iTunesServer_1.0.3 on my readynas as i've read that that was needed in order to get the connection between the nas and itunes to work.
I've set up firefly, started it, done the full scan and firefly found 1500 musicnumbers. the problem is that when i go to itunes the nas-library doesn't show up - let me just add that i'm able to see shared connections and my wifes pc and hers shared songs and vice versa.
I'd really appreciate some help on this..

- If you download the logs (Status > Logs > Download all logs) and extract the zip contents do you see any clues in itunes.log?

- Unfortunately a direct connect didn't solve the issue.
But however, when i reconnecting the NAS to the router (wi-fi) i was able for a short period to see my nas-library in itunes..
it then dissapeared. - What version of RAIDiator are you running?
What version of Mac OS X? - oh, im sorry for not telling this earlier.
RAIDiator v. 4.1.8
and im running windows7 (64-bit) not Mac OS X
:) - If you temporarily disable your firewall can you see the iTunes (Firefly) server?
- tried that to, and it didnt help.
i can only see the firefly itunes server for a short period of time if i reboot the NAS, or if im restarting the itunes streaming service. - When you can see it for a short time, can you connect?
