Cant Run EXE or Copy files from Share
I did a full backup and restore of my NAS3200. Today I noticed that I cant run any executable files. I received an error
You do not have access to \\NAS3200\Master\bcompare.exe. Contact your netowrk administrator to request access.
If I try to copy the file I get
An unexpected error is keeping you form copying the file. Error 0x800700E1

Try copying something other than an exe file from the NAS to see whether it'll permit you to copy that file. If it doesn't, then it sounds like you have one of two issues going on -
1) Network connectivity issue
2) Not the correct rights to the file(s)
I'd start with resetting the permissions to the files first and see whether that fixes the issue.
Next, I'd try replace network cable(s) and testAfter that, try updating the network card drivers
If it does let you copy the non-exe file, then it sounds like you could security based issue on your system which doesn't let you run an application file from a network share / resource. If this is the case, then reply back and hopefully we can diagnose this further.

Thanks, I reset the permsissions to defualt and everything is fine. Learning the new 6OS is a bit challanging since I am so used to the old interface.
