Clients aren't seeing both drives
I have a ReadyNAS Ultra 6. I have 2 3 TB hard drives installed, with various video files on both drives. The NAS is connected directly to my router, and so is my PS3 and Western Digital Tv Live Hub. Both devices are only seeing files on one drive. All files are accessible and playable on my Android phone though using ES Explorer, so the NAS itself and the hard drives aren't having any problems. Any ideas how I can make the other devices see files in both drives?

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserSo the ultra6 is set up as flexraid/jbod?
What protocol is es file explorer using to access the NAS? - kturcotteAspirantI'm not sure what protocol ES File Explorer is using. Must be the default as I haven't played with anything. Also, the clients aren't even seeing all the files available on the drive. I have a bunch of ripped Tv shows. I have each episode in a folder with other episodes from that season, and each season folder is nestled into the show's main folder (Show--->Season 1--->Episodes, Show--->Season 2--->Episides) The devices are only seeing one season folder, but not the other season folders, or even the main show folder itself (The device is acting as if the episode folder is the main/top folder). They're also seeing files that aren't even there (ES File Explorer doesn't see them, and when I try to play them on the clients, I get a message saying "The folder could not be accessed. This content may have been deleted from the media server."
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserES File Explorer doesn't have a "default". You choose the protocol when you add the device. If you pick "LAN" you are using SMB/CIFS.
WDTV has two options. If you select "mediaserver" you are using DLNA. If you select "network shares" you are using SMB/CIFS.
My guess is that you are using DLNA with the PS3 and the WDTV - and that you perhaps haven't entered all the shares you want DLNA to scan. That would be under services->streamservices.
Either way, if DLNA is enabled click on the "rescan media files" control. BTW, personally I think "network shares" is a better way to go with the WDTV. - kturcotteAspirantIs there anyway to do this on the PS3?
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserSorry I might not have been very clear.
On the WDTV you can try "network shares" if you weren't before.
I don't own a PS3, but my understanding is that you need to use DLNA.
The services->streaming services check I mentioned above is in the Frontview UI, not the WDTV. Seeing files that you know were deleted is a sign that you need to rescan. So try that first, and post back with the results. - kturcotteAspirantAnd then suddenly everything worked (At least in the WDTV). Thanks!
