Communcation Error During Inital Setup

Currently having a dialog Box stating "Communication Error Restart Your System and Try Again ". This happens at the end of the Setup when you click Apply.
However the NAS works fine if you exit the wizard and can perform all the steps the wizard takes you through (with the exception of it seemingly not allowing me to change the default password i.e when you log in again the seemingly new password isn;'t accepted)

- You have 90 day phone support, so you could use that.
Also, you could try changing the password using the web interface instead of the setup wizard (this assumes that when you log in again that the wizard doesn't run).
I am thinking you have a v2 product - perhaps you can confirm (http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how ... -or-nv-v2/).
If so, please update your profile. - Web Interface is what i was using. This time i updated the password without using Smybols and it updates and asks me to log in again. Strange as i thought symbols helped to create a strong password.
I have updated my profile to NV+ v2 as requested (and i do have that one) Thanks Stephen.
I guess i have to set up using the web interface instead of the setup wizard. No bother to me but unnecessary - I agree it ought to take symbols. Possibly there are specific symbols it won't accept (I don't have a v2, so this is not something I can test).
Welcome to the forum! - They should make this clear in the manual all it states is Your administrator password can have a maximum of 255 characters.

I have no idea if that restriction still applies (or if it is the only restriction).
