"Config backup" 4.1.8 zip file won't unzip
I just did a config backup for maintenance of my Sparc ReadyNAS X6. A zipped file was downloaded to my laptop, running Mac 10.7.3 (Lion).
However, when I click on the zipped file to unzip it, there is an error message "Unable to expand "_READYNAS_CONFIG-nas-00-97-18-20120224-103034.zip".
I assume this is a problem, but maybe not? Is the zipped file all I need to restore the NAS settings?

- StephenBGuru - Experienced User-You restore by uploading the zip file
-but the zip file should open/expand, so I am thinking you should try downloading it again. - rmullerAspirantI tried a number of times, with different combinations of saved configurations, and with different applications to unzip the file. Nothing worked.

As mentioned you restore by uploading the zip file. If you extract the contents of the zip file and make changes you have to be careful to zip it back up the right way or else you'd restore files to e.g. /_READYNAS_CONFIG-nas-XX-XX-XX-20120224-103034/etc/passwd instead of /etc/passwd
Perhaps try a different web browser to download the Config Backup as I guess it might be incompatible with the current version of Safari.
