Connection Errors to Mac OSX Leopard

Hi,

I have two macs, one has Snow Leopard and one as Leopard. I was able to connect to SL with my ReadyNAS to perform a backup; but not the L machine. I now have Lion on the former SL; and the connection tests just fine.

Back to the L machine, as far as I know its sharing settings are identical to those on the SL - file sharing and remote login are one. I can login to the L machine with other machines - both Windows (Putty) and the Lion machine. But I just can't get the ReadyNAS to connect to it.

Obviously, its on the network.

Any ideas? I was able to connect earlier in the year and even backed the machine up - I have no idea what changed.

  • Oh, I have another mac, Mac Mini also running Leopard - I can connect to it just fine. It's a mystery to me right now.
  • batla: What is the error you receive when you try to login via the Leopard Machine?

If you have a keychain saved for it you might want to delete it and try again.
