Considering RAM upgrade in Duo

The addons seemed to benefit the most from the upgrade IMHO. Although Frontview did seem a little more responsive too. (I do mean *little* though, it's not a huge, impressive enhancement on Frontview, but just a very minor improvement.)
From what I have understood, Transmission, probably more than others addons, gets the biggest boost from the upgrade.
I used a Crucial soDiMM in mine, but I've seen Corsair and a few lesser brands also been given a good review.
There is no official list any more, and Netgear no longer support/advise on the upgrade like they used to when I was looking to do mine. But there is plenty of posts on here and via Google shedding lots of other useful info.
Always run the memtest twice after fitting it, - that is key. And keep the old original DDR soDiMM just in case you need it to fall back on at a later date.
