Well, it looks like this Corsair Memory VS1GSDS333 1 GB PC2700 333MHz DDR 200-pin SODIMM Laptop Memory has a lot of nods of approval, so I think I'll go ahead and order. But before I do, I'd like to understand the risks. I see posts of people being unable to boot with memory that isn't working. But, if I simply re-install the stock memory, is there any risk of bad things? I'll definitely make a full c volume backup first (probably two), but I don't want to be knocked out of commission long term.
